Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 2026-09-20.
Not permitted
- Anything unlawful in the jurisdiction where you or your users are located
- Generating content that sexualises minors, in any form
- Targeted harassment, stalking, or building profiles of private individuals
- Malware, exploit development, or credential-harvesting content
- Impersonating a real person or organisation in order to deceive
- Deliberately evading rate limits, spend caps, or a key suspension
- Reselling access in a way that obscures which upstream provider served a request
Upstream terms apply too
Each model you reach through SurgeX is served by a provider with its own usage policy. Those policies apply to your use of that model and SurgeX cannot waive them. A provider may restrict a use case that this policy does not mention.
Enforcement
Violations may result in a key being revoked or an account suspended. Where an upstream provider reports abuse originating from a SurgeX key, that key may be suspended pending review.
Reporting
Report abuse, or anything on this list that you believe is happening through SurgeX Network, to [email protected]. Include the request IDs if you have them, every response carries one in the x-request-id header, and they are what let us find the traffic you are describing.
